Large commoditized swilleries want to make you the same macro lager, then just run it through a filter to make it NA.  We, on the other hand, are being sincere in making you a great lager.  But let’s be honest, it needs to taste just a little shitty, right?  The great challenge with bringing you the latest addition to the Self Care line was toeing that line without stepping in shit.

We cut no corners in brewing Scherler Easiest. With access to so many locally-grown ingredients that make the Pacific Northwest so iconic for beer, we leveraged quality through the entire process. I mean, we have the artesian water that Olympia bragged about forever. The barley was grown and malted in Montana, and the Liberty hops are from Yakima—a prolific German hop, but grown locally here in Washington’s hop capital. Then we finished with just a hint of blended flaked corn.

Here’s the thing though—making a bazillion gallons and having hundreds of employees sell it at razor-thin margins isn’t our bag. Self Care’s big brother, Three Magnets Brewing Co., is literally a kick-ass little brewpub. This beer is about making connections and enjoying moments around you when you would have otherwise had one of those cheap, big swill lagers. They aren’t even cheap anymore; beers are like 15 bucks a piece in our stadiums. You can get a four-pack of our Scherler Easiest for less than that.
