Brown Ale - 5.4%
Notes from the brewer: One of the OG beers for Three Magnets brewing is back. I was looking to do my own blank slate on the beer recipe. I'd prefer to do malt forward beers with premium micro maltsters. You can get a bit more variety in flavor profile. So this brown features malt from Skagit Valley Malting out of Burlington WA. The beer carries some nice subtle coffee, chocolate and toasty notes you would associate with an American Brown ale. The hopping used was all late hopped with ahtanum to balance in light sweetness, citrus and peppery character. Oh yeah and this beer is a tribute to the Brotherhood Lounge in Olympia. We can't wait to have a pint there once again. Come back to revisit classic brown ales for pairing with meals at home.
