Currywurst-style housemade seitan & beet "sausage", served with jojos and sweet and sour cabbage with apples.
- 1 pan currywurst
- 1 cabbage
- 1 bag jojos
- 8 ounces curry ketchup
- 8 ounces mustard aioli
- 1 bag gherkins
- 1 bag curry powder
- Preheat oven to 350. Once up to temperature, place jojos on a lightly oiled sheet pan and put into oven along with the covered pan of cabbage and covered pan of sausage. After 15 minutes uncover pan of sausage, stir cabbage and recover and carefully flip the jojos. Continue baking all for 10-15 more minutes or until 165 degrees. Alternatively, sausage can be sauteed over medium high heat in a fry pan with some oil and cabbage can be cooked over medium heat in a sauce pan or in the microwave in a safe dish stirring every 60 seconds until 165 degrees.
- Divide all components onto dinner plates. Place sauces in small ramekins if desired. Sprinkle sausage with curry powder if desired.
